The AscBeans are a set of GUI components. The main idea behind the AscBeans GUI components is to simplify the development of Java applications by hiding as much as possible the complexity of:

• The data subscription handling based, for example, on CMW
• The synchronisation with the timing system
• The automatic GUI components configuration based on device / property characteristics provided by the Controls Configuration Service (CCS) .
